Travel Journaling: 2022-2025

While I have traveled to eight new countries in these few years and re-visited even more, my travel journal is about as behind as I am on blogs.

In spite of me being extremely delayed with the journaling, it is one of my favorite things to do. It is so much fun to gather all of my art supplies and really let loose and just create! Gathering all of my stickers, markers, colored pencils, and of course the pamphlets and business cards that I hoard from every establishment I visit is such a cathartic process.

Right now, I am doing two pages per city, but I eventually would love to go back to some of them and add more detail about the trips. For right now though, I am happy to just take the screen break and be creating something.

I totally encourage anyone who is thinking about starting a scrapbook or travel journal to do it. It’s so fun looking back on the memories, and showing it to the friends from the trip always brings up funny stories (plus think of all the cool aunt/uncle lore you’ll get from the scrapbook later in life).

Without further ado… here is what you missed!
